Topic: Unity Makes Completion (Day 2)
Daily Bible Reading: Psalm 133
Psalm 133:1 KJV — Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Unity is a state of being together in language, mind and spirit, focused in pursuit of same purpose. God respects unity and Jesus emphasised its importance.
Genesis 2:24 KJV — Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Unity makes completion — as a man marries he becomes complete, because woman was brought out of the man initially. Unity always brings down God’s presence as we can see in the following examples:
- Tower of Babel
- Miriam and Aaron, united against Moses
- Korah, Dathan and Abiram
Jesus further taught that our unity can bring sure answer. He prayed for our unity.
John 17:21 KJV — That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Unity is a key factor to prevailing prayers. If you’re married, God has given you a perfect prayer partner. If you’re not married, get a partner to always pray with when you need a prayer of agreement.
You can also unite your spirit, soul and body on a purpose. Do not let your actions contradict your prayers. Take advantage of the power of positive unity in the area of prayers today.
