Fresh From God
Topic: God’s Divine Mandate for You (Day 1)
Daily Bible Reading: Genesis 1-3
Gen 1:28 KJV — And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
From today’s bible reading (Gen 1 to 3) we could see the illustration of how God restructured the formless world and created order. There is a lot to learn, but the only aspect I will be addressing today is the part of the creation of man.
From the outlined text above, after God created us like Himself, He blessed us with five mandates, to be:
- Fruitful
- Multiply
- Replenish the earth
- Subdue the earth
- Dominion
These five mandates of God cover everything you have to do to live a meaningful life this year. This is a reminder of who you are, what God had in mind when He made you, and what He blessed you to fulfill. Though man fell and lost the glory of God, many who have received Christ have been brought back to glory (Heb 2:10).
You are carrying a divine mandate and the world is awaiting your manifestation — what will you manifest this year?
“I am made in God’s image, an original version, I have the mandate to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, and have dominion. I am in charge, God is my Father.”
What are you doing this year to be fruitful? Fruitfulness is to produce more results in whatever you are doing. Multiply means to increase your result output, and replicate yourself, till you fill the earth and you are in control (Bring many sons to glory through the gospel of Jesus Christ).
God has created us to be in control, so begin to take control from this day onward.
Envision what you desire for yourself in Christ this year, write it out, and prayerfully run with it daily, taking a record of every milestone covered. You will surely find yourself in control shortly, and fulfilled by the end of this year.
Prayer
- Thank you Lord for a new year.
- Oh Lord help me to walk uprightly, with you.
- I call forth your promises over my life, hasten your word to perform it in Jesus’ name.
- Oh Lord let thy kingdom come and your will be done on earth in Jesus’ name.
